Below you’ll find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about our lessons, facilities, and services.
Do I need any previous shooting experience?
Not at all. We welcome complete beginners as well as more experienced shooters. Your instructor will take you through everything step by step, from gun safety to hitting your first clays.
What should I expect on my first shoot?
Your first lesson will start with a safety briefing, followed by guidance on stance, gun handling, and technique. We’ll then move on to fitting the gun to you and shooting clays at a comfortable pace, ensuring you feel confident throughout.
Is shooting safe? What safety measures are in place?
Yes, safety is always our top priority. All lessons start with a full safety briefing, and you’ll be provided with protective equipment. Dave, your instructor, is fully qualified, insured and experienced, and by your side at all times.
Qualifications: CPSA Instructor, Shotgun Safety Officer, Lantra Loading Qualified.
Do I need a shotgun certificate or license to take part?

Can I book a lesson for just myself, or do you offer group sessions?
Absolutely. You can book one-to-one coaching, or we can arrange group sessions for friends/ families of up to 3 people currently. We hope to offer more group packages & experiences in the near future.
